NBA GWAGWALADA CHAIRMAN HONOURED AT CHAIRMAN’S CUP OPENING

The Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, Gwagwalada Branch, N. D. Abdulsalam, Esq., was honoured to grace the opening ceremony of the Gwagwalada Chairman’s Cup Football Championship as a Special Guest of Honour, organised to commemorate the first 100 days in office of the Chairman, Gwagwalada Area Council, Hon. Kasim Mohammed Ikwa. The championship, which brings together young people through sport and healthy competition, is being conducted under the supervision of Barr. Babatunde Akintade (Bocknor), Special Assistant to the Chairman, Gwagwalada Area Council, on Sports and Recreational Activities, and a member of the NBA Gwagwalada Branch. His involvement underscores the important role of sports in fostering youth engagement, community participation and social cohesion. The occasion also afforded the NBA Gwagwalada Chairman an opportunity to extend his congratulations and goodwill to the Chairman, Gwagwalada Area Council, on the attainment of this significant milestone, while appreciating the initiative and the efforts of all those involved in its successful organisation.
